All notifications have been sent to members who submitted work to this years exhibition. If you did not receive an email notifying you about your submission please check your spam folder and then reach our to oal@oal.org.

Volunteer

The Ohio Art League is a volunteer run organization and part of being a member is to participate as a volunteer for exhibitions and other events. Please visit the 2022 Fall Juried Exhibition Volunteer survey to volunteer for drop off support, hanging support, or pick up support. 

106th Thumb Box Exhibition

The 106th Thumb Box will take place during the month of December this year and we encourage all members to start thinking about the creation of their work for this long standing tradition of the Ohio Art League. All members are guaranteed at least one work in the Thumb Box which is limited to works that are 6" x 6" x 6" or smaller.

To participate please login into your account and submit a digital photo of your works using the online submission process.

We are looking to have drop off coincide with the Fall Juried pick up on November 19th and 20th.

Gateway to the Arts

James March

James March was a Cleveland-based artist whose works have been exhibited nationally. James attended The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and Rhode Island School of Design, received his BA from Cleveland State University and an MFA at Kent State University. March was a highly respected artist and admired for his technical skills and his creativity in the Cleveland area and beyond.

We are reaching out to all members as it is time to start acquiring new members of the Ohio Art League Board of Trustees. We are seeking several new board members to participate in shaping the coming years of one of largest and longest running statewide arts organizations in Ohio.  If you or someone you know might be interested in volunteering to be a member of the Board of Trustees, please visit the link below to complete an online form that will provide us with enough information to invite you to a future board meeting where we can discuss your interest and possible appointment.

 The Ohio Art League has been and continues to be a member driven volunteer-based organization since 1909. Without the hard work of our board members and member volunteers, the organization would not be able to provide, monthly networking meetings, member artists marketing through social media, manage the Thumb Box; Fall Juried Exhibition; Spring Juried Exhibition, and provide opportunities such as the curated exhibitions at the John Glenn Airport’s Gateway to the Arts Gallery.

 We look forward to working with all of you who might be interested in helping support the future of this long running artist organization
