I am a mixed media artist and grew up in Bexley, Ohio. I received my BFA and MFA at OSU in painting and drawing in the '80s. 24 years ago, my family and I moved to a family farm (in much need of repair) in SE Ohio where I make art, garden, substitute teach, and work on our very old house.

My objects (the smaller pieces) and my sculptures involve the layering of collage elements and some painting and drawing. I layer elements to build a history within the piece, hiding and revealing images and the process. I hope people sense a presence when they're viewing my work.
