Artist Bio

Cee has always been interested in the meaning of existence and the interconnectedness of all things. She was born in Kansas, resided on the West Coast and Maui and is now happily in Columbus, She has produced hundreds of paintings and sculptures and has shown and sold her work widely. She received a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute, an MFA from Mills College in Oakland and was granted the Jay Defeo award.

Exhibition Statement

My work has always been about what is ineffable, deeper than what is seen. In this exhibition the viewer may see hints of cells, the cosmos, neurons, or an eye that represents a pure Consciousness that (I believe) is within us all. The show will allow the viewer to make connections between inner and outer life and hopefully feel the mystery of cosmic oneness.
