Organics Series (14)

Created on: Tuesday, June 01, 2021
2D and 3D art Created by cutting and burning Yupo paper with a soldering pen to create various shapes. Then layered 2 deep or more in some cases depending on composition, resulting in interesting shadows and shapes within the artwork itself and on walls around it. Alcohol inks and acrylics paints are used to create colorful back grounds and or color the yupo paper itself. Sometimes mounted in acrylic boxes and sometimes mounted onto a wooden panel or base with the sculpture exposed. Sometimes lit from beneath for extra depth effect.
