"Cycles of Fire" showcases personifications of trauma, mental disorders, and domestic abuse. Each sculpture represents a very specific phenomenon I have experienced in relation to these struggles; and each sculpture serves as a physical vessel into which I can cathartically cast these experiences so I can process, heal, and choose to live my best adult life. Each sculpture is exquisitely detailed with no censorship; they are unapologetically honest depictions of the panic attacks, paranoia, suicidal ideation, resentment, and domestic abuse that were the daily norm for me as a child.
